For our Pulp & Paper Commercial Sales department at our location in Graz/Raaba, we are looking for a Senior Commercial Sales Manager (m/f/d).

 

What you can expect

  • Provide commercial and contractual leadership for national and international sales projects within the Pulp & Paper business and other assigned business areas
  • Support sales teams throughout the entire sales process in all commercial, contractual, and risk-related matters
  • Lead the preparation, review, and negotiation of customer contracts, consortium agreements, and other project-related commercial documents
  • Manage commercial sales project activities, including internal approval processes and commercial project coordination
  • Conduct and lead contractual and commercial negotiations with customers, consortium partners, and internal stakeholders in close cooperation with technical sales teams and central functions
  • Coordinate commercial risk assessments and mitigation measures, including export finance, credit risk coverage, guarantees, letters of credit, and insurance concepts
  • Develop and implement commercial concepts related to taxation, customs, import regulations, permanent establishments, and personnel assignment models together with relevant specialist departments
  • Support multidivisional and international sales projects by coordinating commercial and legal topics across business areas and legal entities
  • Act as Contractual Key Account Manager for selected customers and provide country-specific commercial sales support where assigned
  • Ensure compliance with internal guidelines, governance requirements, and digital sales processes
  • Drive the continuous improvement and further development of commercial sales systems, templates, and documentation
  • Prepare and deliver commercial training programs and contribute to the development of commercial know-how within the organization

 

Your profile

  • University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Law, Engineering Management, or a comparable field
  • Several years of professional experience in commercial sales, contract management, or project business in an international environment
  • Extensive experience in negotiating international EPC, EPCC, delivery, service, and consortium contracts for capital investment projects
  • Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management expertise
  • Proven negotiation skills and intercultural competence
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Fluent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
  • Strong analytical thinking, business acumen, and a solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within international and multidisciplinary teams
  • Willingness to travel internationally

We are legally required to state the collective agreement minimum salary of €4.767,21 for this position. However, we offer market-competitive compensation depending on qualifications and professional experience.
