As the Vice President BU Capital, you will be responsible for overall success of EFB-CAP providing sustainable growth. Furthermore, you have P&L responsibility for EFB-CAP business unit while aligning with EFB’s overall strategy and objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Align with EFB’s general strategy for growth and harmonize with other EFB business units to achieve the common objective.
- Focus on growing and leading all aspects of capital business in EFB. Responsible for the EFB-CAP overall Strategy and MTP.
- P&L Responsible for entire EFB-CAP business for OI, Gross Margin, EBITA.
- Interact with Regions, and other different EFB Business Units and Functions to guarantee alignment on the solutions for the customer in an integrated and seamless way.
- Collect and analyze customer insight by market research and intelligence to help to improve all sales areas / regions and ultimately also the Global Product Group portfolio.
- Push and develop innovation for business models, processes, and products in alignment with division and industry strategies.
- Develop and lead Product Management following the Product Management principles established within EFB.
- Responsible for EFB Product / Process Strategy and - Development, Portfolio, R&D Roadmap.
- Responsible for the development of EFB into an industry leading Plant Solutions provider by leveraging the cooperation among the EFB business units and the CoC’s in the regions.
- Develop a competent team within the industries having in mind the ambitious growth initiative and take the lead in the related strategic growth projects.
- Show strong leadership by setting clear expectations and developing the skills and competencies of the employees in the under his/her organization with focus on business growth.
- Reinforce the behaviors of #1ANDRITZWay and be a role model to the team and to the whole organization.
Qualification Requirements
- You are in possession of a Bachelor’s/Master‘s degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering or another relevant degree.
- You have proven experience in machinery industries supplemented with knowlegde of engineering and marketing principles.
- You have experience in and knowledge of products, processes and customer needs in the diverse industries (Feed Milling, Aqua/Extrusion and Biofuel) .
- You are experienced in a senior level management role within multinational companies and possess knowlegde of finance and controlling principles.
- You work in an organized and structured way supplemented with knowledge of Project Management principles.
- You are a successful leader that combines strategic vision with entrepreneurial thinking, communicating clearly across cultures while managing teams and resources from a distance with discipline and a strong focus on execution.
- You drive for results through effective negotiation, deadline management, and systemic planning that aligns people, processes, and priorities.
- Your leadership style integrates intercultural awareness, decisive action, and a commitment to delivering outcomes that reflect both organizational goals and long‑term strategic intent.
- You are a strong and effective communicator in English (verbally and written). Other languages (e.g. German) are good to have.
- Availability for travel and residence in other regions can be part of this role.
