While enjoying a satisfying position in a modern state-of-the art manufacturing facility in Muncy, PA,
become a key member of the team as a Melt Shop Technician to support all aspects
of the melting process in our foundry.
We are seeking a safety-focused and dependable team member to support melting operations in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for receiving and preparing materials, operating induction furnaces, charging and pouring metal using cranes and monorail systems, verifying furnace chemistry, and assisting with routine maintenance and equipment repairs. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with industrial equipment, following detailed procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement efforts in safety, quality, cost, and lead time.
Candidates should be safety-focused, dependable, and committed to following company policies, procedures, and training requirements. This role requires the ability to maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S standards, read and follow written and verbal instructions, perform basic math, use measuring devices, and read instrument panels.
