About the Role

We are currently seeking an HR Generalist to support multiple locations across our Northeast and Midwest regions and play a key role in delivering high-impact HR support across the employee lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Employee Lifecycle & HR Operations

  • Prepare offer letters and conduct new hire onboarding
  • Support the full employee lifecycle from recruitment through termination
  • Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
  • Partner with internal recruiters and staffing agencies

Employee Relations & Compliance

  • Partner with leaders on hiring, promotions, investigations, and disciplinary actions
  • Support employee relations matters including complaints and policy guidance
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws

HR Programs & Administration

  • Administer HR policies, programs, and procedures
  • Support benefits administration, FMLA/STD/LTD processes
  • Assist with annual open enrollment and wellness initiatives

Culture & Engagement

  • Support initiatives that promote a strong and positive employee culture
  • Maintain employee communication boards and engagement efforts
  • Contribute to programs aligned with the ANDRITZ #1Andritzway culture

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 2–4 years of HR or administrative experience
  • Strong understanding of HR processes across the employee lifecycle
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • High level of discretion and confidentiality

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Experience with payroll and HRIS systems
  • Exposure to multi-site or regional HR support

Travel

  • Approximately 10–20% travel across supported locations
