About the Job:
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical equipment and systems for Company purposes.
- Prepare and evaluate tender and construction packages, including electrical and instrumentation drawings, installation specifications, and other supporting documentation.
- Experience in power plant or transmission/distribution project with PLN and IPPs, within tender preparation & project execution
- Conduct field surveys, write reports regarding existing and potential electrical engineering studies and projects.
- Analyzing results of power systems studies and providing recommendations, assisting organizations with upgrading company’s electrical systems, and preparing cost estimates and bid proposals.
- Perform detailed calculations to compute and establish manufacturing, construction, and installation according to safety aspects, standards, and specifications
- Design and commission industrial MV and LV electrical power systems, including electrical room design, equipment specifications, motor control and grounding systems, and cable and raceway sizing and layouts.
- Design power system facilities and equipment and coordinate construction, operation, and maintenance of electric power generating, receiving, and distribution stations, transmission lines, and distribution systems and equipment: Design and plan layout of generating plants, transmission and distribution lines, and receiving and distribution stations.
- Prepare and study technical drawings, and specifications of electrical systems to ensure that installation and operations conform to safety, standards, and customer requirements.
- Operate computer-assisted engineering and design software, AutoCAD 2009 as mandatory & ETAP as option.
- Direct preparation of, or prepare drawings and specific types of equipment and materials to be used in construction and equipment installation.
- Direct and coordinate manufacturing, construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications, codes, and customer requirements.
- Communicating with suppliers to obtain and confirm information on products necessary to complete electrical schematics and layouts.
- Coordinate operation and maintenance activities to ensure optimum utilization of power system facilities and meet customer demands for electrical energy.
Technical Skills (knowledge):
- Proven ability to develop Schematic drawings, Electrical Layout, Technical specification for electrical equipment and Electrical Calculation;
- Experience in project monitoring and coordination across multidisciplinary teams;
- Strong knowledge of electrical arrangement design principles (both theoretical and practical);
- In-depth understanding of power generation, transmission, transformation, and distribution systems, including associated equipment and materials;
- Familiarity with applicable electrical standards and regulations (AS/NZS, IEEE, IEC, SPLN, PUIL);
- Working knowledge in AutoCAD (2D & 3D), EPLAN and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint);
- Experience with BIM tools for integrated design workflows is highly desirable;
- Working knowledge of electrical analysis software for system studies and design validation
- Language: English (mandatory)

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in EPC Project and Hydropower plant project, including high-voltage applications (150-500kV)
