General Description

The Technical Support Manager is the technical specialist with deep expertise in dies, rolls, parts, hammers, and screens, providing critical technical support to both the sales organization and customers—internally and externally. The role is experienced in delivering technical training to enhance team capabilities and customer understanding. Serves as a key stakeholder in NCR (Non-Conformance Reports) management, ensuring quality standards, issue resolution, and continuous improvement across operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical interface between cross functional teams globally, suppliers, and customers, including travel to customer and supplier sites when required.
• Provide technical support for wear and spare parts, including troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and resolution of Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
• Deliver technical product training to internal teams and customers to ensure high product knowledge and service quality.
• Support quality control processes by analyzing deviations and recommending corrective and preventive actions.
• Provide technical consultation to customers for all types of service activities, from preventive maintenance to emergency support.
• Utilize 3D measurement equipment to support reverse engineering processes for non-OEM components when required.
• Contribute technical expertise to continuous improvement initiatives and cross-functional projects.

Qualification Requirements

• You are in possession of a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Mechanical Engineering or Materials Engineering.
• You have experience in a similar position within the Feed & Biofuel industry, with strong knowledge of the market, products, and customer requirements
• Relevant experience in technical support, application management, materials, or aftermarket services is a plus.
• Skilled in SAP, MS Office, and CAD software, including Autodesk Inventor.
• Fluent communicator in English and German, both written and spoken.
• Analytical, structured, and solution-focused approach to problem‑solving.
• Confident communicator with the ability to engage effectively with customers and internal teams.
• Proactive, self‑motivated, and adept at managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Experienced in project management with a mindset geared toward continuous improvement.
• Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal skills; collaborative yet capable of working independently.
• Traveling abroad (15-25%) can be part of the role.
