The position holder advises and supports the local management team, business leaders and the employees of the local entity on all HR related matters such as implementation and execution of the HR strategy, development of local policies and enables a large degree of engagement within the organization of ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel BV. The position holder has strong bounds into the organization and enables a frame for performance, maintaining knowledge and capabilities, succession planning and to create development opportunities. The HR Manager role is a local role with strong cooperation and support in Global EFB HR initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with local management and business leaders to ensure that the HR strategy and the strategic objectives of the organization are aligned and that competencies are developed within the organization in order to achieve those strategic objectives
• Provide professional HR advice to all levels within the organization, including the field of personnel development, training, assessments, absenteeism, recruitment & selection, employment conditions and important change programs and contributes to the execution and implementation
• Develop strong bonds with the employees within the organization to understand the needs and drivers, get a ‘temperature feel’ of the organization to enable an effective role out of tools and measures at the right pace together with our people
• Responsible for the administration of all employees with an employment contract in ANDRITZ Feed & Biofuel BV
• People development, succession planning and i.e. salary conversations for Global Roles in Geldrop will be handled in cooperation with the VP Global HR BA EE.
• Join the Local Management Team meetings per invite to guide, steer and support the direction of the organization and their employees
• Develop and provide reports and KPI’s related to HR towards management and business leaders.
• Advise in the application of employment law matters and offers support in this.
• Develop and modify local HR procedures, regulations and policies
• Stay informed on development and trends within the market and HR community.
• Develop and strengthen Global initiatives within and outside of the legal entity under the leadership of the VP Global HR BA EE or  Group Human Resources
• Reporting line of the HR Manager is to the VP Global HR BA EE with a dotted line to the Managing Director
• The HR Generalist, based in Geldrop, is reporting to the HR Manager. The HR Generalist provides support on all HR matters for Geldrop and also on global activities.

Qualification Requirements

• You are in possession of a Bachelor’s degree (HBO) in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology.
• You have experience in a similar position in a global business/mulitnational company environment.
• Relevant experience in engineering companies is a plus.
• Skilled in MS Office.
• Fluent communicator in Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
• Intercultural awareness, discipline on execution, and negotiation skills.
• Form and maintain global network, focus on results, strategic and systemic vision.
• Strong leadership presence with excellent interpersonal skills.
• Availability for business travel, mainly within Europe.
