Andritz Pulp and Paper Italy s.r.l. operates in two sites; Lucca and Pinerolo, in the north of Italy. The company specializes in the design and supply of advanced tissue and paper machinery, including complete production lines,rewinders and converting systems, roll handling and packaging systems,as well as automation and control solutions. In addition, it provides comprehensive after sales services and upgrades for both for tissue and paper industies. 

Area of tasks, responsibility, and goals in the organizational area

Executing sales activities on Joint Engineered Systems and Services Paper quotations, in co-operation with other PAD product groups and capital / service divisions.

Main Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage nominated sales projects according to established guidelines to ensure
      • profitable orders with agreeable risks;
      • that project scope and costs are matching;
      • that our delivery capability meets customer’s project needs and schedule
      • customer satisfaction
      • proper transfer to delivery organization
  • Manage sales projects in his/her own region / process area; be aware of own regions specialities (country regulation, customer specifications, contractual climate, country risks, local conditions, etc.)
  • Prepare and manage preparation of quotation documents
  • In direct quotations lead Andritz team in customer meetings; prepare necessary presentations and present our offering to customer
  • Develop sales strategy for nominated sales project jointly with PG management
  • Develop a quotation plan when necessary (time schedule of quotation activities and budget)
  • Inform necessary internal stake-holders early enough that they can plan their actions and support the sales project with dedication
  • Create and prosper relationships with Customers and develop the dedicated market area also including marketing actions in the area
  • Identification of new business  opportunities (customers, technologies etc.) and communicating them to management
  • Follow up competitors and inform to management their actions and/or news in respective market area and sales projects
  • Identification of new technologies and product needs to be added into PAD product range. and communicating them to management
  • Project support at customer interface; contract interpretation in case of differences of opinions
  • Consider lessons learned, feedback reports and NCR of comparable projects in order to enhance the accuracy and reliability of running RFQs.
  • Monitor plan and report market opportunities and sales activities through ANDRITZ CRM and monthly reports.

 

Education /job experience:

  • Bachelor degree in Engineering
  • Master’s degree / MSc in Engineering is considered a plus
  • Over 5y of experience in paper industry sales support or project management/engineering P&L experience and understanding of growth implications and needed measures in the organization

 

Expectation / requirements of the job holder:

  • Knowledge of sales and marketing principles
  • Knowledge of paper mill and converting plant processes
  • Understanding of Project management principles
  • Automation and Digitalization Products knowledge (good to have)
  • Machinery/engineering principles
  • Good knowledge of English.
