The Role

The Solutions Specialist is responsible for supporting product development, sales initiatives, customer implementations, and associated tasks related to ANDRITZ Metals USA product offerings. This role will focus on industrial SaaS solutions and advanced digital tools for metals manufacturing.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support the development, testing, and enhancement of ANDRITZ industrial and manufacturing SaaS products.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to provide technical expertise, software demonstrations, and solution scoping for customer proposals.
  • Lead or assist with software implementation activities, including configuration, onboarding, and training of Andritz team members and customer.
  • Troubleshoot software, data, and integration issues during customer implementation and support cycles.
  • Coordinate with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure digital solutions align with equipment and operational requirements.
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback to support continuous product improvements.
  • Assist with internal R&D initiatives related to emerging digital technologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with SaaS solutions in an industrial or manufacturing applications is preferred
  • Experience in the metals industry, industrial automation, or manufacturing environments is a plus.
  • Knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes, plant layouts, or equipment.
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites, manufacturing facilities, and project locations as required.
  • Ability to perform onsite work, which may include standing, walking, or equipment handling in industrial environments.
