Job Description:
This position is responsible for advising the effective planning and implementation of Andritz Equipment Customer Service. This position reports to Service Manager (Pulp, Paper & Board) from which instructions are received and functions with little or no supervision thereafter.
This position is required to Supervise and Perform a variety of Andritz equipment start-ups and maintenance activities at Pulp, Paper & Board equipment installations. Supervise and perform Andritz equipment rebuilds, including troubleshooting, optimization and preventive maintenance instructions of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and instrumentation systems.
This position requires Service Representative to conduct training to customer supervisory, technical and operating personnel during installation and start-up of Andritz equipment. Andritz Service Representative visits customer mill locations though-out (NA) with good will, promoting aftermarket equipment enhancements, and sales support.
Responsible for making good decisions which includes an expeditious manner of getting from point-to-point when traveling World-wide and coping with the usual complications of schedules, etc.
Duties: % of Time Based on a 40 hr. Week
- Manufacturing representative equipment service & commissioning. 25%
- Communicating and developing relationships with clients. 10%
- Developing and managing project schedules & equipment repair. 25%
- Scheduling and coordinating internal and external resources. 5%
- Overseeing project fieldwork, equipment trouble-shooting & reviewing quality. 10%
- Group’s primary contact with its customers for assigned Projects/programs. 5%
- Ensures appropriate communications channels are maintained & reporting schedules adhered to. Key relationship manager for the project. 5%
- Responsible for routine reporting of the projects status to the customer and Andritz management. 10%
- Develop and implement continuous improvement for assigned Projects to ensure the quality of the deliverables. 5%
Requirements:
Experienced Industrial Maintenance & Service or related fields, Industrial Mechanics, Process Instrumentation & Control. Mechanical Pulp & Paper Refiner Field Services experience. Project Management, Equipment Start-up & Commissioning experience as well as Team Leadership Skills. Adaptable, Diversified and Mobile.
