Job title:  Senior Legal Counsel(Hydro,ME,Large Pump,Schuler)

Position Summary

• provide legal opinion in both English and Chinese independently for electronic & mechanical equipment supply/purchase contract and EPC contract and participate the contract negotiation, supervise the contract execution, provide legal opinion/solution in case of dispute with supplier/purchaser; draft any document in both English and Chinese that are needed for the contract negotiation, contract execution and dispute solution.

• Provide legal support for all kinds of leasing contract, agency or consultancy contract, issues relevant to Administration of Industry and Commerce, safety management, import & export, establishment of branch company, internal company merger (including drafting documents and providing legal opinion).

• supervise the project execution of the project managers and review all kinds of legal documents during the project execution to avoid dispute with customer, supplier. To collect documents concerned and make reaction plan in case of dispute.

• Provide legal support for the sales, purchase activities of other Andritz Group entities in global.

• Organize and deliver legal training to business divisions to enhance their awareness of the legal requirements and risks during their sales and project execution activities.

Competence

1. 8+ years working experience as practicing lawyer in law firm or as in-house legal counsel in construction business or electrical, mechanical machine supply & installation business.

2. Be capable to independently analyze the business contract risk, handle the project dispute. And be capable to formulate analysis report in Chinese and English basing on the result of the investigation and risk analysis, and communicate the analysis with local and overseas business divisions.

3. Has deep and thorough understanding of the business risks for electrical, mechanical machine supply industry.

4. Has basic legal knowledge for public bidding, international sales contract, import & export, intellectual property, quality dispute, environment protection.

5. Bachelor’s in law.

6. Bar admission in PRC.

7. CET 6 English skill level, or be able to use English as working language, be able to read English document or have the basic English drafting skill.
