Field Service Tech 

Position Overview:
With direction, assembles or sub-assembles parts/components for presses, partially or completely by working at bench or shop floor.

Production Supervisor

Specific Duties:
1.    Positions parts according to knowledge of unit being assembled or following blueprints.
2.    Fastens parts together with bolts, screws, speed clips, rivets, or other fasteners.
3.    Cut out and/or mount electrical boxes for use in manufacturing process.
4.    Fabricates and runs conduit as required to perform basic wiring for all press controls.
5.    Locates faulty circuits with test equipment, troubleshoot, and correct problem with minimal assistance.
6.    Solders wire connectors.
7.    Removes small quantities of metal with honing machines, hand files and scrapers to produce close fit between parts.
8.    Uses micrometer to accurately measure internal and/or external diameter of precision parts necessary to assemble component parts and/or finished products.
9.    Drills and taps holes needed to assemble clutch and/or other sub-assemblies.
10.    Operates drill presses, punch presses, or riveting machines to assist in assembly operation.
11.    Greases and test units to assure proper fit and function.
12.    Performs minor machining and/or welding operations as required to make electrical boxes and mount for operations.
13.    Conduct tests on electrical/electronic components and replace as necessary to assure an operational control system.
14.    Performs start-up operations on all new or rebuild presses to ascertain that controls and wiring is appropriate for use.
15.    Inventory parts and inform proper resources when components need to be ordered.
16.    Operates industrial truck or electric hoist to assist in loading or moving materials and products.
17.    Other duties as assigned.
