Service Center Leader (full-time; one position) ANDRITZ Schuler Inc. seeks in Canton, MI to develop, implement and coordinate activities related to service jobs and production. Oversee all jobs running on shop floor, including shipping, and receiving products and tools/device maintenance. Coach and develop shop floor team to achieve peak performance and meet objectives set forth by management. Implement, track, and achieve related KPIs. Implement production programs to ensure attainment of business plan for growth and profit. Plan and direct production activities and establish production priorities for products in keeping with promised deliveries, effective operations, and cost factors. Formulate and recommend production policies and programs that guide the team in maintaining and improving its competitive position relative to competitors. Develop and implement production operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate issues and improve product quality and costs. Create and oversee production schedules and priorities as a result of equipment failure, operating problems, or sales commitments. Responsible for safety, EMS, and OSHA compliance for all shop-related employees and equipment. 

Must have a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent) in Manufacturing/Mechanical Engineering or a related field, plus 1 year of experience in a manufacturing environment with CATIA V6 and SAP R3. 

In lieu of a bachelor’s degree (or foreign equivalent), we will accept a bachelor’s degree earned through any suitable combination of education, training, and/or experience, as determined by a professional evaluation service. All experience may be acquired concurrently. Domestic and international travel required, not to exceed 20%.  EOE. 40/hrs/wk. 8am to 5pm. Mon-Fri. $104,395.00/yr.
