In our Electric & Automation department in Vienna we are searching for an Electrical Project Engineering Manager (m/w/d): 


your Tasks:

  • Responsible for the project management and execution in the field of plants in the metal industry in compliance with project calculation, scope of supply, contractual and technical regulations.
  • Technical and commercial discussions with other internal entities and end-customers
  • Resource and cost planning in compliance with contractual time schedule and regulations
  • Coordinate with the commercial project manager periodically commercial project reports and cost controlling as well as, commercial risk assessments, contract-/cost claims.
  • Responsible for issue and maintenance of the project time schedule for electric and automation tasks
  • Proactive and solution-oriented conflict management (time schedule, project resources, scope changes)
  • Project team leadership (team size up to 20 people internal/external)

 

Your Profile:

  • Completed technical education (college or university) in the field of electrical engineering or automation technology
  • At least 3 years of experience in project management in the field of Automation systems and process industry
  • Good knowledge of modern project management tools, MS Project, MS Teams and MS Office
  • Knowledge of European and international guidelines and standards (IEC, NEMA / UL) in regards of metal processing lines
  • Team player, and entrepreneurial behavior
  • Strong communication skills in technical discussions and negotiations
  • Proactive, structured and solution-oriented way of working
  • High willingness to travel (approx. 20%) for clarification meetings (customers, suppliers and other Andritz offices), site survey, etc.
  • Business fluent English skills spoken and written (min. B2) required, German and other language skills are beneficial

 

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 3.542,60 for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
