ANDRITZ TEP is looking for a Sales Director to strengthen the sales team in the Power Boiler capital project sales.


Your job will be participating in the Power boiler sales projects globally, mainly in Europe. In this job you will have the possibility to work in the interesting high technology market in international atmosphere. In your role you will be an important and crucial member of the small and agile Power boiler sales team. You will be given responsibility depending on your experience. And naturally you will gain a high learning curve in the international arena. In your work you will prepare technical documentation to quotations with others and participate in pricing. You will also participate in customer negotiations – both technical and commercial. All in close co-operation with other ANDRITZ teams.


Power Boilers is part of ANDRITZ Recovery and Power Division (KRP).


The location of the job is in Croatia, Slavonski Brod.


Your main responsibilities are as follows:

  • Continuous monitoring of European market activities
  • Promote Power Boiler capabilities at clients, consultants and other stakeholders
  • Develop stakeholder relationships with other market participants such as major suppliers of steam turbines fuel handling, etc.
  • Prepare Go-/NoGo decisions based on the divisions strategy
  • Participate in the development of the Company's strategic plans
  • Develop “winning-strategies” for projects with regard to the product playground available (grate vs. fluid. bed)
  • Coordinate marketing activities within Power Boiler entities,
  • Designs and proposes marketing activities that could lead to the improvement of the Company's position on the market
  • Host the agency network
  • Define on the basis of the stipulations and agreements with the customers, consortium and engineering partners the technical basis and objectives in view of elaborating the tender by the tendering team (specification)
  • Ensures legal operations compliance of the Company in all business segments
  • Elaborate together with the specialized technical departments and the purchasing department – a list of potential suppliers if such a list is demanded by the customer
  • Coordinate division of work inside the product group for projects with multiple regional engagement
  • Organize and coordinate work of the Sales department in order to perform more efficiently on the market
  • Conduct product group Sales Reporting
  • Ensures realization of the overall content of the sales business function of the Company
  • Contribute essentially to business planning of new products designs, development strategy and operational development activities of the Company





To succeed in this role, we expect you to have:

  • University dregree in economics, technical or other relevant subject
  • Sound background in Power Boiler business such as Sales or regional management functions
  • 15+ years of experience in power boiler / power plant business at industry or utilities
  • Excellent English skills, both spoken and written
  • Extraordinary communication skills
  • Customer-oriented and pro-active mindset
  • Good team working skills
  • Possibility to travel both domestic and abroad
