We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to join our experienced finance team.  This entry-level position will allow you to learn and actively participate in all aspects of the financial activities of a large business.  This position will provide plenty of learning and growth opportunities within an international company. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in operational accounting activities (accounting cycle, billing, collection, supplier invoice approval policy, capital assets, book entries, accounts reconciliation, etc.);
  • Participate in monthly and annual financial reports;
  • Coordinate cost center budget preparation, analyze deviations and follow-up on budget;
  • Supervise cash flow and actively participate in cash flow forecasts related to operations and projects;
  • Participate in the audit file with external auditors and taxation team, when needed;
  • Review, develop and maintain all systems and functions processes and procedures regarding finances and accounting to ensure the appropriate application of accounting principles and company guidelines and processes;
  • Participate in special projects; prepare ad hoc reports and other tasks related to his expertise;
  • Multiple currency, intercompany transactions and SAP system environment.


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

  • Bachelor’s degree of commerce, accounting or finance major; 
  • CPA title or in progress an asset;
  • Bilingualism – strong written and verbal communication skills in French & English;
  • SAP or other ERP experience an asset;
  • Strong Excel skills;
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Must be autonomous, flexible and have the ability to work well under deadline pressure;
  • Must be proactive and able to multi-task;
  • Must be well organized and able to prioritize.
