We are looking for a Disassembler to take apart various pieces of equipment for the Pulp and Paper Industry.  Position reports to the Operations Manager


  • Label equipment with proper order number
  • Utilize air and hand tools to take equipment apart
  • Prepare Equipment for Sandblast
  • Load and unload sandblast truck keeping up with what has and has not shipped to sandblast
  • Steam clean and pressure wash components as needed
  • Load and maintain parts cleaner
  • Transfer equipment and components to proper location for storage
  • Work with inspectors to identify damaged components


  • Comply with all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Maintain work area in accordance with 5S requirements
  • Read and comprehend written and verbal instructions
  • Use fork trucks, cranes, and other mobile equipment
  • Communicate effectively and work independently or as a team member
  • Extensive attention to detail
  • Valid Driver’s License
  • Proficient in the use of precision measuring instruments, such as but not limited to micrometers



Requires ability to work in a manufacturing environment, which may include exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals.  Physical conditions for positions: Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, grasp, ascend/descend stairs and ladders, maneuver within tight spaces, routinely lift up to 50 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, excellent problem solving skills, and wear required personal protective equipment.  All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
