SUMMARY OF DUTIES: To support the Feed & Biofuel Sales Teams by handling all inside office quotation creation & order processing functions for Capital equipment and services.  Candidate is responsible to ensure all expectations of the client(s) are achieved. This position requires a candidate with well-developed interpersonal skills possessing a general willingness to continuously learn and improve, with the ability to work under pressure. The ability to communicate effectively at all levels both verbally and in writing is essential.  This position is designated as the single point of contact for all proposal and/or order related needs/issues/concerns until the expiration of the Capital order warranty period therefore you must maintain solid relationship(s) with all Departments & Customers.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: Associate Degree in Business, Engineering, Physical Science or Applied Science or equivalent combination of formal education and experience required.  Basic knowledge of Feed and Biofuel Industries is highly beneficial. 

Additional Requirements:  Ability to convert metric and US measures, mechanical aptitude, understand Engineering and Manufacturing drawings, excellent PC literacy (word processing, spreadsheet/database applications; knowledge of SAP or equivalent ERP system a plus), strong problem-solving strategies, organized, accurate, detailed, flexible to assist with multiple functions, ability to prioritize and handle multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a hectic, fast-paced, moderately stressful environment.  Must possess a cooperative attitude and strong sense of urgency when responding to customers’ needs.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES (Responsibilities include but are not limited to): Responsible to solicit guidance, direction and approvals from management regarding the handling of standard, non-standard and non-typical proposals and order activity.
SALES TASKS: Coordinate creation of quotations while working with the Capital Equipment Sales, Applications Managers and Engineering to select and confirm the initial equipment selection and sizing for each proposal which includes reviewing costs and pricing, descriptions of equipment, parts, and/or services and proposing lead times and payment strategies; prepare & send proposal cost estimates to be reviewed by appropriate Sales Manager; document ALL application details, changes, or adjustments for every proposal, quote, and or bid; coordinate with Purchasing to ensure successful & accurate resale of goods and services occur when contact with Vendors is made for quotes, equipment specs, pricing, etc.; participate in lab trials, trade shows, and customer meetings to support the sales efforts and further training and/or technical expertise, as well as perform minor sales support duties (returning calls, emails, web submissions, etc.) when Sales Managers are unavailable.
ORDER TASKS:  Manage all aspects of Capital orders once a contract is awarded as a sale; create, structure, and maintain material master data, customer orders, projects, and schedules in the Andritz SAP ERP system; coordinate with Logistics and vendors to expedite and organize shipments; communicate with Capital Equipment Sales & Application Managers, external Sales Force, Vendors, and Customers to uphold order schedules and make adjustments as needed; manage Capital order warranty issues including return goods documentation, internal approvals and insurability of timely delivery. 
ENVIRONMENT & PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:  Majority of work is performed indoors in an office environment however, occasional visits to manufacturing plant facilities, which may be dusty, dirty with varying temperatures and noise levels, heavy duty magnets, welding machines, and manual & remote controlled devices using radio signals, and exposure to fumes. Candidate required to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, ascend/descend stairs, lift up to 25 lbs., wear PPE, and possess solid visual acuity, hearing and touch.  Good mobility is required in order to travel for customer visits. Position requires work be conducted in a safe and efficient manner at all times, to include wearing necessary PPE.
