General Description

Reporting to the Plant Manager the Paper Cutter works proficiently with others, but also has the ability to work well independently. The paper cutter will be responsible for the cutting of paper fill material used in the manufacturing of paper filled rolls.

 

Job Responsibilities and Tasks

 

Ability to: 

 

  • Read a tape measure as well as read and follow instructions
  • Lift 40 lbs with repeated lifting, turning and bending
  • Will operate die cutting equipment to cut, spin and key paper fill material
  • Will be requried to operate a forklift
  • Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy
  • Use proper safety/personal protection equipment
  • Perform other duties as assigned by shop supervisor

 

Qualification Requirements

 

  • Education: High school Diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: On the job training will be provided.Other combinations of experience and education that meet requirements may be substituted.
