Job description: 

This position holder has the overall responsibility for developing, overseeing and managing Division’s overall supply chain of buy in equipment to support our EPS and Project strategy in order to maximize the process efficiency, quality and productivity. In addition, he/she plays a crucial role in developing and maintaining good relationships with vendors and distributors and secure competitive sourcing of buy in equipment.

                                                                                                   KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Ensure alignment and cooperation between the Supply Chain, Sales-, Project- , Industry-,  and Product management teams in FB and Multi locations to agree at Targets & priorities
  • Seek to improve all aspects of the supply chain area by reviewing current methodology and processes
  • Early involvement in the project bid phase
  • Maintain a friendly and professional relationship with vendors while promoting company initiatives and values
  • Research and seek out the most qualified products needed for the right cost, quality and Lead-times to support our EPS Strategy
  • Research partner companies and seek to negotiate best-price contracts to increase business revenue
  • Plan and implement supply chain optimization and localize to LCC/BCC for local, regional and global usage
  • Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective
  • Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers or distributors
  • Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements
  • Collaborate with others from diverse backgrounds in order to identify problems and find solutions

TECHNICAL SKILLS (knowledge)

 

  • Knowledge how to manage and improve supply chain data, information and processes
  • Understanding of principles of accounting and finance
  • Professional communication skills are essential when conversing and negotiating with vendors
  • Exceptional ability to conceptualize large-picture projects and foresee challenges and needs to be addressed
  • Understanding of all aspects of supply chain processes
  • Ability to research companies and determine the best vendors to reach out to for various projects
  • Experience working in and maintaining databases using Microsoft Excel and others relevant to company processes
  • Supply Chain Management certification is strongly preferred
  • Machinery/engineering skills
  • Technology skills (ANDRITZ IT Tools)
  • Language skills :
    • English fluency (must have)
    • German and other languages (good to have)

SCHOOL EDUCATION

 

Minimum

Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering and/or related field

Desirable

MBI or Master in Business Administration

 

EXPERIENCE

 

Experiencie

At least 5 years’ experience in an international industrial environment in Supply Chain Management is essential

 

Industrial Sector

Feed Milling, Extrusion, Biomass and Waste ( by education and /or experience )
