Major Duties

  • Overall responsibility of project activities
  • Manage SAP system excluding cost plan
  • Create BOM according to technical agreement
  • Cost, time and quality management and customer satisfaction in the project
  • Maintaining customer contacts throughout the project and updating customers regularly on project status
  • Prepare project organization
  • If necessary, support project managers to prepare and distribute project schedule
  • If necessary, support project managers to make on time report project status, including all necessary reports, POC project reports
  • If necessary, support project managers to arrange definition of project groups, design review, necessary developments.
  • If necessary, support project managers to organize and control production and distribution of project documentation
  • If necessary, support project managers to take actions to identify and mitigate or eliminate risks
  • If necessary, support project managers to analyse and address customer complaints in an appropriate and professional manner
  • If necessary, support project managers to monitor purchasing plan and ensure that purchasing is conforming to the project schedule and specific contractual purchasing demands
  • If necessary, support project managers to follow project purchases jointly with the purchaser
  • If necessary, support project managers to follow contract status reports
  • If necessary, support project managers to update budget estimation, project cost follow-up, project cash flow and milestones in SAP
  • If necessary, support project managers to monitor bookings and invoicing from the customer and suppliers
  • If necessary, support project managers to approve all major purchasing invoices in the project
  • If necessary, support project managers to back charge and +/- list management with the customer and suppliers
  • If necessary, support project managers to monitor and control of liquidated damages
  • If necessary, support project managers to arrange training of customer’s personnel
  • If necessary, support project managers to organization of commissioning, start-up and guarantee run
  • Support project managers to inform the customer that performance guarantee was achieved
  • Support project managers to close the project
  • If necessary, project support engineer can take over job of project managers

 

Other, Non-Project Related

  • Share knowledge via the intranet, team meetings and in other appropriate forums and media
  • Improve processes, standards, tools and skill levels within the organization together with other members of the project team.
  • Support Project managers , Sales, Technology and Product and Service manager(s)
  • Maintain share folders

 

 

Competence

  • Bachelor or Master Degree of Pulp & Paper Industry
  • Up to two years of experience in Paper Industry preferably in Project Management
  • SAP knowledge and skills an advantage
  • Good English knowledge (written and spoken)
  • Good at office Microsoft
  • Familiar with CAD
