Major Duties:
• Support manufacturing and purchasing for all Centrifuge components in cooperation with CoC, Procurement and Operations. Organize inspections of key components at suppliers in cooperation with QA.
• Further development of supply chain in cooperation with procurement and CoC (audits, release of suppliers for key components)
• Support price negotiations with ATC`s procurement organization (Product Transfers and Prototypes plus standard engineered parts).
• Technical support for overhaul proposals and operation plus decision making for competitor machine service offers.
• Keep Centrifuge technical documentation updated. Update it to reflect the latest technical development and provide such updated information to all concerned suppliers, OP, internally in SE as well as customers documentation.
• Handle drawing and document flow between CoC and ATC.
• Manage design change requests with CoCs (via AECM tool).
• Cooperate with project manager on failures during order execution, commissioning & start-up and till warrantee period has ended
• Responsible for and take care of product safety and safety of others.
• Understand competitor machines and support sales in elaborating unique selling points.
• Follow up material update to avoid obsolescence in inventory
• Local first level support and debugging on pre-series manufacturing
• Support and investigate with workshop on failures during manufacturing
• Collecting of design modification requests and lessons learned and coordinate with Product Home a review and final implementation of the corrective actions
• Creation and maintenance of As-build D-BOM
• Deal with customer site issues while commissioning and maintenance, technical support for service sales
Competencies:
• Bachelor degree or higher with major in mechanical engineering
• More than five years product or engineering experience
• Good skills with Microsoft office
• Fluent in English, very good reading, writing, speaking and understanding
• Preferably experience with separation equipment, such as centrifuges
• Willingness to travel abroad
• Already worked with an ERP (SAP preferred)
