As Senior Business Controller you are responsible for the consolidation and reporting of monthly actuals and forecasts, securing that these are accurate, worked through and on-time. Furthermore, you will be a key player in building a strong finance community that partners with the business and that can act proactively, supporting the growth strategy of Feed and Biofuel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive the Divisional month end closing. Consolidating, analyzing, and challenging the financials on legal entities as well as on a regional business level through interaction with a broad range of stakeholders
  • Reporting of financials on multiple levels of the organization including the Divisional Management and Headquarter Office
  • Maintain and develop existing reporting tools as well as new tool to support decision making and improve the performance of the organization.
  • Maintain, develop, and sustain reporting processes and procedures across the entire Feed and Biofuel organization in compliance with the overall Andritz standards
  • Drive for alignment of ways of working within the finance community, across all entities and promote one way of working within Andritz FB
  • Active participation in preparing the quarterly forecasts and annual budget
  • Managing the financial risk register
  • Keeping an open mind, challenge the existing while striving for better performance within the team and across the organization
  • Ad hoc analysis to support the dynamic environment we operate in
  • Substituting for colleagues in their absence

Who are we looking for?

Technical Skills

  • Strong analytical skills combined with a structured approach to break down complex matters to create transparency
  • Strong communication and presentation skills towards all levels of the organization
  • Capable of handling a fast-paced environment in a calm thoughtful manner with the ability to prioritize, monitor and control tasks
  • Have strong customer focus, by aiming to deliver on requirements and expectations to create value
  • Take initiative and responsibility by acting pro-actively in identifying opportunities and anticipate change
  • A strong team player that actively contributes to the group in order to meet the goals and deliver on the strategy
  • Advanced user of SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Preferably experience with SAP BI, SAP Financial Consolidation, SAP Analytics Cloud, Microsoft PowerBI and ThinkCell

Education

  • Minimum: Bachelor degree within economics, finance or a similar business administration degree
  • Desirable: Master’s degree within economics, finance or a similar business administration degree

Language Skills

  • English fluency (mandatory)
  • Danish or German (good to have)

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience from similar position in a finance department, ideally gained in an international environment
  • Industrial sector: Experience in a technical discipline is an advantage

Other Requisites

  • Ability and willingness for traveling
  • Interpersonal and intercultural skills to enable strong bonds with people across regions
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude
