The R&D Automation Engineer will be a key asset in developing electrical and automation designs of our future products, technologies and services. 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Development of electrical designs and instrumentation for new products and solutions

  • Preparation of functional design specifications

  • Participate in quality assurance activities like DFMEA, HAZOP and risk assessments

  • Standardization of electrical design, components, and solutions

  • Seek and exploit all opportunities to digitalize product and solutions

  • Planning and participation in prototype tests

  • Support to the global R&D organization in respect to hardware and instrumentation selection

  • Support prototype manufacturing

 

Who are we looking for?

Technical Skills

  • Understanding of industrial machinery

  • Process design and controls knowledge

  • Electrical engineering skills

  • Machine directive & CE-marking knowledge

  • ATEX design

  • Electrical design softwares (e.g. COMOS)

  • Minimum: Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or similar

  • 3+ years of experience with electrical design or automation

Other Requisites

  • Ability and willingness for traveling (max. 20 days per year)
