We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project Manager to the Team of Contract Execution Europe, where you will be reporting to the Manager of Contract Execution Europe, Contract Execution. The position is located at our headquarters in Esbjerg, Denmark.



As Project Manager your key responsibility is to take active part in projects from the initial scoping/sales phase to the project execution and hand over from single machine orders to EPC project deliveries.

 Furthermore, to assist the Sales department on review quotations and come with input for solutions/supporting Global Sales in the Quotation process where needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Scope Management
    • Implement and manage project changes and interventions to achieve project outputs
    • Participate in conformation of equipment specification for Automation and Service
  • Project Time Management
    • Control and manage project deliverables progress both internally and externally
    • Projects follow up at sites during erection
  • Project Cost Management
    • Maintain Cost in the SAP finance system
  • Project Resource Management
  • Project Communications Management
    • Centre for communication internal and external in the project phases
    • Customer relation one point of contact
    • Hand over meetings from sales responsible
    • Kick off meetings for the organization (Project team)
    • Hand over to aftermarket
    • Monitor and report on progress, risks and finance of project to the Regional Director
  • Project Risk Management
  • Offer our customers technical consulting services, and hereby ensure that our customer technical expectations are fulfilled e.g., participate in design 3D layouts in collaboration with Plant Design Engineers and customer
  • Evaluate and assess the results of the project
  • Responsible for Project claims until Warrantee expires



Qualifications & Experience

  • Project management experience, preferably 3-5- years
  • Strong knowledge of technical standards and regulations within Plant engineering
  • Business level verbal and written skills in English
  • Proficiency in of MS Office 2010 or earlier, particularly Microsoft Project, Outlook, Excel and Word,
  • Able to understand profit and loss calculations and basic business finance, e.g., gross margin percentages and calculations, depreciation, capital and revenue expenditure, cash-flow, overheads, etc.
  • Able to travel approx. up to 40-60 days per year. Longer time at one location is possible.

Preferably, Technical education, as a minimum B.Sc. in Mechanical or process engineering, Constructional engineer or similar.
