As a Mobile Service Engineer, you will pro-actively visit Installed Base (IB) customers across Poland and the region as being assigned to. During these visits you will execute small repairs on IB equipment, using tools and parts as being available in the service van. At the same time, preventive scans and inspections of complete pellet product lines can be performed, combined with hands-on training to operators when perceived necessary. With this pro-active way of offering service it is the objective to increase the AFM OI with these IB customers.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment maintenance supervision (e.g. during roller shell and die exchange)
  • Process reviews and implementation of findings
  • Preparing recommended spare parts to put on stock
  • Small mechanical repairs
  • Mechanical reviews
  • Promoting complete service concept, including upgrades, CMS and parts & wear (both OEM and non-OEM)
  • Registering IB equipment not yet documented in CRM IB system
  • Providing relevant feedback about customer’s needs and requirements to Sales and Sales Support

  • Communication: Ability to present service ideas/concepts in a clear and consistent way as an outcome of a repair, scan or inspection
  • Networking: Ability to connect with customers and make them “early adopters” of our service concepts

Education

  • Minimum: Professional education in mechanical craftsmanship as ships-fitter, smith, or other relevant studies. Further basic process skills gained from the feed or process industry.

Experience

  • Several years of experience in (mobile) service in both mechanical and automation areas, mechanical and process areas. Automation is second priority
  • Proven track record in working commercially
  • Specific know how on Pellet and Extrusion production lines and equipment
  • Technical experience with maintaining machinery like gearboxes, transport systems etc.
  • Knowledge of handling bearings, sealings and lubricants

Technical Skills

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office tools and usage of CRM tools
  • Driver’s license
  • Fluent in English and Polish
  • Overall black smith skills
  • Readiness and capable of doing physical work

Other Requisites

  • Ability and willingness to do frequent and multi-day traveling with a service van across Poland and the greater region
