This 2-year graduate program is a starting point for young talents with Finance and Controlling background who are looking for an ambitious career in a fast-paced and international environment.
KEY LEARNING OBJECTIVES
The graduate program will be starting on September 1st, 2023 for a during of 2 years which consists of 3 challenging assignments in different Finance & Controlling areas within ANDRITZ. Each rotation period has been selected to secure that the Finance & Controlling Graduate is introduced to the broader perspective of Finance and Controlling tasks, that will be of value in the future controlling role. Apart from the below specified objectives that Graduate will be handed a predefined and time limited project that is linked to the Entity of the current rotation. The projects will be handed over with a proposed scope and from there it is up to the Graduate to frame and run the project as well as implement it before end of the rotation. During each rotation there will be several ‘follow the suitcase’ days, where the Graduate will be tailing a senior manager for a day. Furthermore, there will be focus on understanding how IT systems are structured, how they interact and on how to use the available data to support the business.
Rotation Period 1 (8 months) - Global Finance and Controlling, Esbjerg, Denmark
General understanding of what is required from a divisional controlling team, being the central point of coordination with regards to reporting of financials to Headquarter, Divisional Management Team, and various divisional (/global) departments.
• Participate in the Monthly Reporting / Budgeting / Forecasting
• P&L and Balance Sheet analysis
• Business Area Controlling; Sales; R&D; Operations; Global Functions
• Project controlling
Rotation Period 2 (8 months) - Aftermarket Production, Finance and Controlling, Geldrop, The Netherlands
During this rotation the graduate will gain insight to Manufacturing and the related task around it
• Cost pricing: BOM / Routings
• Manufacturing/Production Orders and follow-up
• Inventory controlling
• Asset Management
• Legal Entity Reporting
• Entity reporting to Divisional Controlling and Local Management
Rotation Period 3 (8 months) - Sales and Capital Assembly, Finance and Controlling, Muncy, USA
The goal is to get insights into how the sales department is working, how capital orders are executed, and the processes related to capital production.
• Sales process; Customer contact; Quotation; Sales Booking and follow-up
• Project execution (/management) and follow-up
