Job title:  Global Logistics Manager

As a Global Logistics Manager, you have the overall responsibility for designing, co-ordinating and overseeing end-to end logistics operations of all division entities worldwide and its businesses, with purpose to optimize supply routes, transportation, warehouses footprint and inventories, to provide competitive service level to customers while minimizing cost and operating net working capital.

Key Responsibilities

•    Direct inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics management processes
•    Review and optimize existing, or develop and standardize new processes in line with group and division standards fitting operational needs
•    Develop strategies to globally streamline and optimize logistics operations and warehouses footprint to improve performance (Lead Time, Availability, On Time Performance etc.) and reduce cost
•    Leverage global perspective to consolidate logistic operations at selected strategic partners, scaling up business with them to get competitive conditions. 
•    Ensure that agreed service level to customers, and financial commitments are met
•    Perform relevant data analysis, metrics reporting and presentations to help management understand logistics perspective and to deliver annual and long-term targets 
•    Coordinate logistics improvement projects 
•    Partner and communicate with stakeholders within company and externally, while developing and maintaining good relationships
•    Develop, manage, and functionally lead logistic team in all FB regional entities with focus to enhance competence level, create/maintain motivating working environment with high performance and compliance standards.

Education
Minimum: Bachelor/Master’s degree in engineering, business and/or related field
Desirable: SCM or Strategic sourcing education

Language Skills

English on a professional level

Experience

At least 7 years’ experience in an international industrial environment in Logistics or Supply Chain Management positions and minimum 5 years’ experience on managerial positions is essential

Industrial Sector : Automotive, energy, wind, rail, marine machinery ( by education and /or experience ) is preferred
