Salary: $111,000 - $118,000 per annum

Duties:

 

  • Taking overall responsibility for business development and process technology for new customer projects in North America
  • Acting as the central point of contact for all technological matters
  • Conducting audits of plants or plant sections
  • Doing calculations of mass balances
  • Developing upgrade concepts in cooperation with the global team
  • Supporting machine start-ups when needed
  • Conducting customer trainings
  • Developing a know-how platform for key paper and board grades
  • Having frequent interactions with regional and global product managers
  • Actively participating in the collaboration between our capital and service divisions
  • Developing action plans, providing expertise in response to client needs, and supporting and advising project teams
  • Directing and advising staff in the development and implementation of service quality assessment strategies
  • Planning, administering and controlling budgets for client projects, contracts, equipment and supplies
  • Assisting staff with administrative or technical problems

 

Requirements:

 

  • University degree in engineering or paper technology
  • Five years of professional experience in the pulp and paper industry
  • Extensive knowledge in fiber and paper process technology
  • A proactive, analytical, with a results-driven working style
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Excellent English and general communication skills
  • Willingness to travel within North and South America
