Summary:

Plan and monitor production based upon customer requirements. Interact with internal/external customers and address questions/concerns on order status.
Work with logistics team on daily shipping tasks relevant to the position.
 

Job Responsibilities, include, but not limited to:

•    Manage daily production schedule to meet customer delivery targets by working with various manufacturing departments including but not limited to Customer Service/Sales, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Logistics.

•    Generate production schedules based on Material Requirements Planning (MRP knowledge preferred).

•    Complete daily and weekly reports of production status, scrap, capacity, lead time. etc., to aid effective decision-making in the organization.
•    Provide production lead-time estimates to Sales and Customer Service.
•    Coordinate the Return of non conformance materials from customer.
•    Support Logistics department with Miscellaneous shipments as needed.

 

Education, professional experience, skills, and qualification preferred/required:

•    Associate Degree in related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience (in related field).
•    Must be proficient in MS Office products (Word, Excel, Access, etc.) in addition, prefer familiarity with SAP.
•    Comply with all Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements, to always include regarding confidentiality.
•    Possess strategic, logical, and methodical thinking for problem solving, organization, time management, prioritization, and independent decision-making skills, while accurately handling multiple tasks requiring detail, in a fast-paced environment.
•    Communicate effectively (verbal & written) and collaborate withal levels of staff, work independently or as a team member, maintain a high degree of accuracy while performing under pressure in time sensitive environments.
 

Environment:

Position performed indoors in an office environment, however, frequent visits to the manufacturing plant facility is required, which includes exposure to varying temperatures and noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals.  Physical conditions for position are to sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, ascend/descend stairs, possibly lift up to 25 lbs.  Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment.  All tasks performed with or without reasonable accommodations.
