Join us at an exciting time as we launch a new die plant facility in Windsor, Ontario! We are looking for a skilled and experienced CNC Operator Lead to supervise a team of CNC operators and drive production excellence. In this leadership role, you will oversee machine operations, ensure quality output, and support continuous improvement efforts across shifts.

 

What You Will Be Doing

 

Here’s an overview of your responsibilities and how you can leverage your expertise:

  • Lead and supervise a team of CNC operators, ensuring efficient and safe machine operation
  • Set up, program, and operate CNC machines to produce precision components according to technical specifications
  • Review technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files to guide production
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain optimal performance and part accuracy
  • Inspect finished parts to ensure they meet quality and dimensional standards
  • Perform routine maintenance and assist with troubleshooting of CNC equipment
  • Provide training, mentoring, and technical guidance to junior operators
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve machining processes
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Promote and model adherence to safety protocols and company policies

What We're Looking For

 

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:

  • Proven leadership experience in a CNC machining environment
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD files
  • Strong knowledge of CNC machine operation and basic programming (e.g., G-code)
  • Excellent attention to detail and mechanical troubleshooting ability
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift materials as required
  • Legally authorized to work in Canada
