For our global business area HYDRO at the Weiz location, we are looking for a Acitve Parts Design Engineer (m/f/d) for Hydro Generators on a full-time basis within the Mechanical Engineering department.
YOUR PROFILE
- Completed technical education (HTL or equivalent)
- Several years of professional experience in design engineering required
- Knowledge of generators is an advantage
- Experience in technical drafting
- Strong CAD skills, ideally with Siemens NX experience
- SAP knowledge is beneficial
- Excellent German and English skills, both written and spoken
- High level of initiative
- Strong communication skills
- Independent and well-organized working style
YOUR TASKS
- Creation and development of 3D models, manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, and technical specifications for the active parts of rotating electrical machines
- Supporting the Senior Design Engineer in technical project execution
- Preparation for and participation in design reviews
- Technical support for departments such as Sales, Procurement, Manufacturing, Assembly, and Commissioning
- Participation in regular internal design meetings to coordinate project-related engineering decisions
- Continuous knowledge transfer within the team
OUR OFFER
We are legally obliged to state the collective bargaining minimum salary for this position, which is gross € 3,616.50 per month. However, we offer a market-based salary depending on qualifications and professional experience in any case.
