General Description

Knowledge of Switchyard component and protection system; Knowledge of Generator, Transformer, Bus bar and Line Protections, Knowledge of Numerical Relays, Knowledge of Relay co-ordination & setting calculation among power house component, feeders and far end relays, Exposure of site commissioning, Knowledge of International Standards, Good command on Microsoft Office

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write the purpose for which the job exists

• To Handle Disign and commissioning of Protection System

• Meet the time line of project excution in cordination with Functions

• Montoring project during excution with functions

OU’RE GOOD AT: Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate. 

•  Drawing and Document Preperation as per project contract
• Preparation and development of protection system for powerhouse and for outgoing feeders
• Preparation of Protection Algorithm
• Preparation of Material specification and further Procurement process
• IEC- 61850 communication of protection realys with Control System
• Internal Testing of Cubicles
• Commissioning of Protection System including preparation of commissioning documents.
• As built documentation and Conduct the SAT.

YOU BRING: Experience & Qualifications (Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role)

• Education: BE(Electrical/Electronics)
• Experience:  5-10 years
• Languages: English, Hindi
• Product Know-How : Conversant with different protection IED available in the market
• Readiness to travel. Technical meetings with Client and  Commissioning of system at project sites

PREFERRED: Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess.

• Candidate should have thorough Knowledge of Protection system
• Commissioning Actovities of Hydro Power Plants

YOU’LL WORK WITH: Provide details pertaining to the reporting structure (Direct/Indirect).
