Skills Requirement
- Technical Expertise:Strong understanding of control theory, automation systems, and relevant software and hardware technologies.
- Leadership and Communication:Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills, including the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-Solving:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Industry Knowledge:Knowledge of Power industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Cyber Security- Knowledge of relevant cyber security standards which are applicable in control system of power industry.
- Knowledge of Communication Protocols- knowledge of different industrial communication protocols like IEC 60870/IEC 61850/MODBUS etc.
- Knowledge of Plant Network- Configuration of two/three layer ethernet switches, configuration of firwalls/routers
JOB RESPONSABILITIES AND TASKS
Leadership and Management:
- Team Leadership:Guiding and mentoring junior engineers, providing technical support, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Project Management:Planning, scheduling, and executing control system projects within budget and on time.
- Technical Guidance:Providing expert technical advice and making key decisions related to control system design and implementation.
Technical Responsibilities:
- Design and Development:Developing and implementing control system designs, including algorithms, software, and hardware.
- System Modeling and Simulation:Using simulation tools to analyze and validate control strategies, ensuring system stability and optimal performance.
- Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving:Identifying and resolving technical issues within control systems, ensuring efficient and reliable operation.
- Compliance and Standards:Ensuring that control systems meet relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety requirements. Specific Examples:
- Hydro Control Systems:Working on control systems for hydroelectric power plants, including hardware and software design.
- Commissioning- Leading commissioning team at site.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Education: BE(Electrical/Electronics)
- Experience: >10 years
- Languages: English, Hindi
- Product Know-How : Conversant with different Control system available in the market
- Readiness to travel to sites
