General Description
- The HR Business Partner – Field Services acts as a strategic and operational HR partner for field operations and project sites. The role is responsible for end-to-end HR support covering manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations, compensation administration, insurance & mediclaim support, labour law compliance, cost center planning, and field logistics such as travel, uniform, and PPE management—ensuring compliance, workforce well-being, and uninterrupted project execution.
WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write the purpose for which the job exists
- Act as a strategic and operational HR Business Partner for Field Services and project sites.
- Support manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and deployment to meet project requirements.
- Ensure smooth HR operations across multiple field locations, enabling uninterrupted project execution.
- Drive employee relations, engagement, and performance support for field employees.
- Manage compensation administration, payroll coordination, and cost center planning in alignment with budgets.
- Ensure full labour law compliance and statutory adherence for permanent and contract workforce.
- Oversee insurance and mediclaim administration, including employee support and claims coordination.
- Enable workforce safety and well-being through uniform, PPE, welfare, travel, and logistics support.
- Maintain accurate HR records, MIS, reporting, and HRIS (SAP) data to support decision-making and audits.

- Managing site HR and project-based HR operations
- Manpower planning, recruitment, onboarding, and deployment for site roles
- Handling employee relations, grievances, and disciplinary matters
- Compensation, payroll coordination, cost center planning, and cost control
- Ensuring labour law compliance for permanent and contract workforce
- Administering group insurance and mediclaim, including claims handling
- Coordinating uniforms, PPE, welfare facilities, and safety compliance
- Managing travel, accommodation, logistics, and reimbursements
- Preparing HR MIS, reports, audits, and statutory documentation
- Working with SAP / HRIS and MS Excel for HR data management
YOU BRING: Experience & Qualifications (Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role)
- MBA / PGDM in Human Resources or equivalent qualification
- 8–15 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong exposure to site HR, field services, EPC, infrastructure, or power projects
- Proven experience in contract labour management and statutory compliance
- Hands-on experience in Administration
- Sound knowledge of Indian labour laws including Factory Act, CLRA Act, BOCW etc
PREFERRED: Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess.
- Experience working in large EPC / Infrastructure / Power organizations
- Exposure to multi-location or remote project sites
- Prior involvement in labour inspections, audits, and contractor compliance
- Familiarity with HSE coordination for accident reporting and insurance claims
- Advanced proficiency in SAP HR modules and HR analytics
