Job title:  Electric Engineer Motors, Drives & Power Distribution Systems (m/f/d)

In our Electric & Automation department in Vienna we are searching for an Electric Engineer Motors, Drives and Power Distribution Systems (m/f/d).

Your Tasks

• Calculation and dimensioning of individual drives, multi-drive systems and motors according to mechanical requirements (torque, speed, …)
• Design and specification of AC and DC electric power supplies
• Support in early stage of project development with offer specifications and calculations
• Testing and commissioning of our systems as well as training and instruction of our international customers in our test fields, workshops and on job sites
• Contributing to SAFETY / HAZOP, supporting all stakeholders in multinational projects
• Optimization and maintaining of existing solutions as well as the development of new, innovative solutions for the technical and economic improvement of systems and processes
• Support in creating and maintaining hardware engineering standards
• Contributing to the internal knowledge management system
• Point of contact for other departments, customers, sub-suppliers and other stakeholders with regard to AC and DC drive systems and power supplies

Your Profile

• Completed technical education (college or university) in the field of electrical engineering / drives technology or similar
• Several years of relevant professional experience, ideally in a global corporate environment
• Competent knowledge of drive technology (Siemens SINAMICS, ABB ACS880,...)
• Good knowledge of international guidelines and standards (IEC, NEMA / UL) is beneficial
• Structured and solution-oriented way of thinking and analytical approach
• Responsible and independent way of working
• Team player, flexible working in international project teams
• Good English and German skills spoken and written (B2) required, other language skills are beneficial
• Willingness to international travel (10-20%)

In Austria we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 4.112,78 / month for this position.
Depending on qualifications and professional experience we offer you a market-based salary.
