Job title:  Test Engineer

For our Vevey-based Laboratory, we are looking for a Test Engineer.

Your mission:

• Planning of experiments and execution of measurements of model turbines (mainly pump-turbines and Pelton) in the hydraulic laboratory
• Operation of test rigs in hydraulic laboratory
• Analyze data and prepare documentation of tests and results
• Participating in Acceptance Tests with customers
• Participation in maintenance, calibration, certification and continuous improvement of measurement equipment, test rigs and laboratory facility
• Provide support to design engineers in the laboratory

Your Profile:

• Master’s degree (HES) Mechanical Engineering at least 3 years of experience in a similar position
• Knowledge of hydraulic turbines, especially pump turbines, is an advantage
• Knowledge of computer-aided design (CAD) an advantage
• Work with a high level of autonomy 
• Relevant professional experience in the hydropower sector an advantage
• Experience in analysis and processing of measurement data is an asset
• Good knowledge of French and English, additional languages are an advantage
• Flexibility, reliability, team orientation as well as commitment complete your profile
