For our Vevey-based Laboratory, we are looking for a Hydraulic Development Engineer.

 

 

Your mission:

  • Hydraulic sizing and calculation of Pelton turbines
  • Designing of hydraulic profiles for all turbine components (Pelton) with CAD (Unigraphics)
  • Computing of Pelton turbine components with CFD softwares
  • Development and support in maintenance of softwares and tools applied for hydraulic engineering (design, experimental and numerical tools)
  • Support for Troubleshooting
  • Support and consulting of sales department as a hydraulic turbine expert
  • International representation
  • Intense collaboration with national and international project management
  • Support of other colleagues in the team

 

Your profile:

  • Education as Mechanical Engineer or Hydraulic Engineer or similar with experience in hydraulics
  • Experience in program development (C-sharp, Python, LabView)
  • Experience in experimental measurements
  • Advanced knowledge of turbine hydraulic design
  • French mother language with excellent knowledge of English, German is an asset
  • Reliable, dutiful, can work autonomously, open to innovation and novelty
  • Communicative and open personality, can work in a team
