SENIOR SYSTEM ENGINEER
Working location: Preferred: Växjö/Sweden, ANDRITZ AB. Open for: Other locations in Sweden were ANDRITZ have offices or home based with the possibility to be at the office 5 days/month. 

 

We search for a Senior System Engineer for Carbon Capture technologies. Dedicated role to develop, implement, execute and maintain the hot potassium carbonate technology.

 

•    Responsible for producing detail engineering and design deliverables necessary for project and proposal execution. 
•    Works with Process Engineers in preparation and delivery of work packages to Technology Managers, Lead Discipline Engineers, or Project Engineers according to schedule 
•    Review technical documentation/specifications related to tenders and projects.
•    Equipment design, preparation of process equipment specifications, review and comment to A/E specifications and technical documents, manufacturer liaison and technical assistance in installation, operation and performance evaluations.
•    Support Research Engineers in R&D activities, data analysis and development of scale up factors, as required.
•    Support of the procurement effort for equipment and services purchased directly by ECA from vendors.  Efforts include requisitioning, technical bid evaluation, vendor recommendation, purchase order review and vendor design and documentation reviews.
•    Provide technical support in meetings with customer, architect/engineer, vendors and others, as required.
•    Assure that components and system designs are selected which optimize efficiency and profitability.
•    Provide field startup, operation and training services
 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

•    Education: M.Sc. in engineering required; preferably Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
•    Experience: 5 years or more
•    Languages: English 
•    Product Know-How in Carbon Capture or in Clean Air Technologies.
•    Readiness to travel.
