The primary function of the Office Manager is to ensure that the R&D Center can perform to its fullest extent in executing trial work to promote and develop ANDRITZ technology globally.

Day to day management:

  • R&D center SAP activities, expenses, and budgets for internal reporting.
  • Coding and processing of bills / invoices.
  • Creation of purchase orders.
  • Organize / participate in company events and conferences.
  • Maintain filing systems.

Director / Manager / Supervisor support & assistance:

  • Ensure personnel are informed of internal announcements.
  • Ensure health & safety policies are up-to-date.
  • Manage monthly NA safety reporting to HSE Director.
  • Manage R&D Center Safety Plus access to other personnel.
  • Key User for FisherSolve database.

R&D Center shipping & receiving:

  • Coordinate shipping & receiving of goods.
  • Maintain sufficient inventory for general consumables and HSE items.

Customers, clients, and visitors:

  • Book travel as needed
  • Ensure customer compliance to R&D Center HSE rules.
  • Ensure communication with customers and trial execution.

 

  • Bachelor’s degree or 5 years, minimum, of relevant pfofessional experience.
  • Respect confidentiality.
  • Strong background with Microsoft Office products and preferred experience with an ERP system, preferably SAP.
  • Experience with strategic planning, scheduling, and business development skills.
  • Solid writing and communications skills (verbal and written).
  • Comply with all Company policies, procedures, safety requirements, and represent Company interests at all times.
  • Work independently or as a team member in a fast-paced environment.

Position performed in an office environment. Visits to both the manufacturing facility and/or laboratories are required. Environment: Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, dust, dirt, fumes, welding machines, heavy duty magnets and manual/remote controlled devices using radio signals. Physical conditions for position:  Sit, stand, walk, bend, reach, push, pull, kneel, stoop, crouch, climb, ascend/descend stairs, lifting up to 25 lbs. Must have visual acuity, excellent mobility, good hearing, manual dexterity, good balance, ability to endure long hours, and wear required personal protective equipment.
