Your day-to-day tasks would include providing assistance in testing material samples for internal R&D and customer contract trials in our facility that supports the development of process technologies and machine sales that find application around the globe.

 

Position Requirements

 

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Previous laboratory experience preferred
  • Solid writing and presentation skills
  • Prepare and transport test materials
  • Set up and operator test machines and equipment
  • Clean test equipment, tanks, containers, etc.
  • Routinely preparations and handling of chemicals
  • Knowledge in computer software, hardware, and pulp and paper industry a plus
  • Compliance with all Company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
  • Willingness to represent Company interests at all times
  • Ability to communicate effectively (oral and written)
  • Ability to work independently or as a team member
  • Accurately complete all required documentation
  • Ability to operate fork truck
  • Ability to apply concepts of mathematics and basic algebra to calculate figures and perform calculations
  • Ability to record test data on standard forms
