Position Summary:
This position is responsible for the documentation, maintenance, and flow of materials in and out of Production, Inventory Control and Shipping/Receiving areas.
Major Duties:
•Will delegate daily work activities of the Assembly, Stock Room and Shipping/receiving personnel.
•Responsible for making sure product is packaged efficiently to prevent damages.
•Responsible for making sure the total scope of all orders is completed and shipped with detailed packing slip information as well as sufficient pictures taken for future referenc
•Will prepare various reports.
•Responsible for proper packaging and shipping techniques for company Original Equipment and Aftermarket Assembly to insure receipts to customers without damage.
•Responsible for the safety of Material personnel.
•Responsible for Maintaining Preventive Maintenance Schedules on Equipment assigned for department.
•Responsible for organization of all storage locations for inventoried and non-inventoried items on company property.
•Responsible for all pulling, issuing, staging and delivering all part requirements to the appropriate department per procedure and schedule.
•Responsible for executing on time shipping and receiving performance. – Including maintaining and reviewing Celonis.
•Will audit and process all material transactions against work orders and make sure BOM’s and Jobs are corrected as necessary for proper relief of inventory.
•Will assure the accuracy of receiving by resolving receipt discrepancies in a timely manner.
•Will assist responsibility in conducting a smooth physical inventory.
•Will maintain organization regarding materials documentation.
•Will initiate and conduct periodic cycle counting to audit and maintain accuracy of inventory files.
•Will assure that all parts and areas are tagged or identified consistently.
•Will perform daily audits of all areas of responsibility and assign special projects to maximize employee productivity.
•Responsible for insuring project overage report part dispositions are processed and dispositioned in a timely manner. Within 3-5 days after project shipment for closing of project based on end of month closing.
•Responsible for daily filing duties which will include the removal and storage of these files at year end.
•Will maintain a positive work environment for employees.
•Will maintain a well-organized work area with no exceptions.
•Will participate in the performance evaluation of subordinates.
•Responsible for 5s improvements and sustainment for the materials department.
•Overtime as required.
Basic Skills:
•Working knowledge of ANDRITZ supplied equipment.
•Experience at reading basic engineering drawings and parts manuals.
•Computer Skills: Microsoft (Windows, Word, Excel).
•Strong knowledge CRM
•Ability to locate internal information and communicates well with all internal and External parties
(SPC) Spare Parts Manual
•Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures to ensure compliance with OSHA requirements.
•Additional duties as assigned by the Service Manager.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
•The physical demands of this position require the ability to walk, sit or stand for long periods of time.
•Must be physically able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
Relationships:
Interfaces with Field Service Technicians, Clients, Service Managers, Engineering, and all other Andritz Representatives.
