Unsupported image type.ANDRITZ is looking for a Methods and Timing Technician for the Hydro Division based in Madrid. The attribution of the position includes assuming the performance of the manufacturing processes and the organization of the physical/technical and human resources in our facilities in Madrid for all our projects in Spain and Portugal. Additionally, it will support the Mechanical Engineering department.

The job will be based in our workshops and Andritz Hydro office in Algete (Madrid).

               

The responsibilities of the job are:

 

  • Carrying out the work and manufacturing processes of all the components, both new and refurbished, calculating the times for their completion. It will guarantee compliance with the Engineering and Quality requirements of each component.
  • Support to the Mechanical Engineering department both for the creation of procedures and for other tasks of design and delineation of the projects in progress.
  • Supervise methods, planning, specific processes, maintenance, storage, general services, etc.
  • Medium- and short-term planning of all stages of the manufacturing processes Actual time control compared to planned times     
  • Coordination with the technical office to decide on design alternatives, repairs, etc.
  • Review of the bills of materials or drawings received from Engineering, as well as the Quality ITP
  • Manage the purchase of welding and machining material (for the factory in general)
  • Collaborate in the preparation of offers
  • Warehouse Control
  • Relationship with Project Managers, Purchasing, Quality and externally with suppliers          
  • Propose investments in equipment  
  • Coordinate with the Health and Safety Officer to ensure that processes meet H&S requirements.
  • Creation of KPIs related to Methods and Times
  • Definition and evaluation of environmental aspects in Factories and Power Plants.                
  • Participate in the certification of the ISO according to Group Regulations.                

 

We are looking for candidates with the following experience and expertise:

 

  • Intermediate University Technical Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Aeronautical, Naval)
  • English, Portuguese and/or Italian is an asset 
  • Workshop experience
  • Management of CAD/CAM design programs  
  • Mechanical Capital Goods Manufacturing Experience                  
  • Interpersonal sensitivity                     
  • Extensive technical knowledge                         
  • Optimization of manufacturing resources
