Our ANDRITZ Separation Service Center requires a skilled and experienced Journeyman Welder to join our team in Saskatoon! The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various welding techniques and a commitment to safety and quality. The role requires working on a variety of projects, including the re-manufacturing of large industrial centrifuges, and other solid/liquid separation and rotational devices.

 

Responsibilities may include but are not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Maintain a clean work area and maintain and repair welding equipment and tools.
  • Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG and SMAW.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
  • Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and within specifications.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Candidate will be required to work a rotating shift including a 6am-3:30pm dayshift and a 3:20pm-1:50am afternoon shift as required by management.

When selecting candidates, we will be looking for the following essential skills, abilities, and experience:

  • To be considered, candidates will have a Journeyman Welder status as defined by the Apprenticeship Branch of the Saskatchewan Department of Labour.
  • Demonstrated welding experience.
  • Experience in an industrial environment.
  • Familiarity with welding inspection and quality control processes is an asset.
