We are seeking for a Health, Safety & Environmental Divisional Manager (Global Function).

 

This position can be located in Reutlingen, Düren (Germany) or Gloggnitz (Austria). 

 

Purpose and targets

 

  • Acting as point of contact regarding all HSE relevant aspects within the complete organization
  • Leading, coordinating, supporting and coaching all HSE staff at locations and projects, ensuring the correct understanding of all ANDRITZ's HSE cardinal processes
  • Being a role model regarding all HSE aspects
  • Ensure the correct implementation of the ANDRITZ Group and Business Area's HSE management system and its harmonization between all legal entities part of the Division
  • Prove competent opinion on all relevant HSE aspects
  • Ensure suitable monitoring and reporting of the HSE project performance, within the organization and to the ANDRITZ Group
  • Facilitate the implementation of global initiatives and champaigns within the Division

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Facilitating the implementation of all requirements included in the ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 within the organization; ensuring proper integration and harmonization to the standards defined on Group and Business Area levels 
  • Ensuring that sufficient human and financial resources are calculated by all legal entities, in order to guarantee the correct implementation of all HSE processes, required for sale performance
  • Supporting the local HSE staff preparing and issuing the specific HSE documents, in coordination and cooperation with other relevant stakeholders
  • Executing periodical HSE meeting (also online or telecom) and reviews with all management and HSE responsible person(s) of the organization, in order to inform, consult and coordinate them
  • Define a general Divisional audit plan and program, to monitor compliance to standards and internal HSE requirements. Executing periodical HSE audit or inspection at locations / workshops and projects. Preparing and issuing dedicated detailed audit report and action plans
  • Participating to root cause analyses for most critical accidents/incidents happened within the organization and distributing the incident report and lessons learned alerts to all relevant parties within the ANDRITZ Group
  • Closely monitoring the HSE Performance of the Division, reporting all relevant KPIs to the Management of the Division as well as to the Business Area and the ANDRITZ Group
  • Relevant experience as HSE Manager in similar roles, in international and multi-location organizations 
  • Experience as HSE Manager on relevant operational working environments, like construction sites and manufacturing workshops, will be considered as a major preferential factor

 

Professional Experience / Education

 

  • Recognized HSE education, according to local requirements
  • Bachelor or Master of Sc. degree in HSE, mechanical, civil, chemical or environmental engineering as a preferential factor
  • Fluent in English; any other language, especially full German skills, will be considered as relevant plus
