We are looking for a Plant Design Engineer (m/f/d) for our Power Boiler Department in Raaba.
Your Tasks
- Provide the general layout of power plants in compliance with contractual, legal, and commercial requirements.
- Review local arrangement of components regarding space needs as a final check before installation.
- Generate escape route concepts and ensure safety and fire protection requirements.
- Close collaboration with system engineers, piping department and steel structure department on the project design requirements.
- Participate in meetings with clients, partners, and sub-suppliers.
- Define and maintain battery limits.
- Generate lead and sectional drawings from E3D models.
- Inform the project management and head of department about trends and risks affecting project objectives.
Your Profile
- Technical apprenticeship, technical college, or university degree.
- Experience in general layout design of boiler islands, flue gas cleaning plants, and power plants.
- Knowledge of main components and their design requirements for general layout.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and safety requirements (fire protection, hazardous material storage, building standards).
- Experience with E3D (including related tools).
- Ability to work in a team, detail-oriented, technical problem-solving skills, communication skills, willingness to travel.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel).
- Good knowledge of written and spoken English and German.

In Austria, we are legally obliged to announce at least a gross monthly salary of € 3.519,91 for this position. Depending on qualifications and professional experience, we offer you a market-based salary
