To support our continued growth, we are hiring an HR Manager - HRBP in the Czech Republic. In this role, you will partner closely with business leaders to drive people strategy, strengthen our culture, and enable organizational performance.

 

The HR Manager - HRBP Czech Republic is responsible for leading all HR and People management activities for the Legal Entity. This role serves as a strategic advisor to the Managing Director and local leadership team while ensuring seamless implementation of all global HR initiatives from ANDRITZ Group and from the Global HRBPs from ANDRITZ Business Areas. The position ensures excellence across the entire employee lifecycle, guarantees compliance with Czech labor law, drives data accuracy and process integrity in #APeople, strengthens leadership capability, supports organizational development, and ensures effective operation of various hosting models such as direct HC hosting and engineering service pools.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Strategic HR Leadership & Business Partnering

Act as the main HR advisor to the Managing Director and leadership team, ensuring People strategies align with HY business needs.

Support organizational design, workforce planning, change initiatives, and cultural development.

Guide leaders on people decisions, performance, team dynamics, and succession planning.

 

Employee Lifecycle Ownership

Oversee all HR processes from recruitment to offboarding, ensuring a consistent and positive employee experience.

Lead employer branding, talent attraction, onboarding, development, and performance processes.

Ensure accurate and timely HR data and workflows in #APeople.

 

Labor Law & Compliance

Serve as the authority on Czech labor legislation and ensure full legal compliance.

Manage employment contracts and documentation, monitor risks, and resolve labor issues.

Coach leaders on employee relations, disciplinary matters, and conflict resolution.

 

Execution of Global HR Programs

Implement global and HY HR programs in talent, succession, learning, performance, and leadership development.

Drive local adoption of #1ANDRITZWay and cultural initiatives.

Provide data and insights to support Global HRBPs.

 

Collaboration with Global HRBPs & CoEs

Work closely with HR Centers of Excellence to deploy global processes locally.

Ensure strong data quality, reporting standards, and cross-country cooperation.

 

Employee Hosting Models

Manage diverse hosting setups, including direct HC, engineering service pool structures, and cross‑border models.

Ensure clear governance, compliance, and a smooth employee experience across hosting arrangements.

 

HR Operations & Continuous Improvement

Oversee HR administration, payroll coordination, documentation, and process efficiency.

Use HR analytics to support decisions and drive improvements.

Identify opportunities for harmonization, digitalization, and cost optimization.

 

Culture, Leadership Development & Change

Promote #1ANDRITZWay and ALeaders behaviors throughout the organization.

Support engagement initiatives, surveys, and action plans.

Enable leaders to build high‑performing teams and lead change effectively.

 

TECHNICAL SKILLS

 

- Deep knowledge of Czech labor law and employment regulations.

- Strong HR generalist competence across all employee lifecycle stages.

- Organizational development insights and workforce planning expertise.

- Proficiency in HR reporting, analytics, and business insight generation.

- Strong familiarity with digital HR systems, ideally #APeople.

- English and Czech mandatory; additional languages advantageous.

 

 

SCHOOL EDUCATION

Minimum: Bachelor's or Master's in HR, Law, Business, Psychology, or related field

Desirable: HR specialization, MBA, or related advanced studies

 

 

EXPERIENCE

Required: +5 to 10 years of experience in all HR matters; strong Czech labor law background; proven experience advising leaders; HR systems experience; experience in a international companies and matrix-driven organization are highly appreciated

Target Industries: Industrial, engineering, manufacturing, or technology sectors; companies with global HR frameworks
