Summary of the role 

 

We are looking for a dynamic and motivated candidate to join our experienced finance team.  This entry-level position will allow you to learn and actively participate in all aspects of the financial activities of a large business.  This position will provide plenty of learning and growth opportunities within an international company. 

The ideal candidate must be ready to work in a fast-paced, complex environment, with constantly changing priorities. Results- and solutions-oriented candidates who follow through on their ideas and commitments will perform well at ANDRITZ.   • Participate in operational accounting activities (accounting cycle, billing, collection, supplier invoice approval policy, capital assets, adjusting entries, account reconciliations, etc.);
  • Participate in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports;
  • Coordinate cost center budget preparation, analyze deviations and liaise with department managers;
  • Monitor cash flow and actively participate in cash flow forecasts related to operations and projects;
  • Participate in the audit file with external auditors and taxation team, when needed;
  • Participate in special projects; prepare ad hoc reports and other tasks related to his expertise;
  • Multiple currency, intercompany transactions and SAP system environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree of commerce, accounting or finance major; 
  • Bilingualism in French & English is mandatory;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • SAP or other ERP experience an asset;
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel (Vlookup, SUM IF, Pivot Tables);
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills;
  • Must be autonomous, flexible and have the ability to work well under deadline pressure;
  • Must be proactive and able to multi-task;
  • Must be well organized and able to prioritize.
