Summary of the role 

Our Peterborough warehouse is responsible for storage, expedition and reception of material from/to construction sites across Canada. It is also responsible for the supply of tooling and equipment required on those sites.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform the reception and classification of materials;
• Validate the technical documentation upon reception;
• Optimize space in the warehouse;
• Prepare documentation for shipment;
• Verify the accuracy of inventories and make adjustments as required in the computer system;
• Perform and coordinate the repair and disposal of materials;
• Carry out transactions from inventory system; 
• Purchase tooling as required for site mobilizations;
• Operate equipment such as a forklift;
• General warehouse duties.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE 

• Secondary or Post-Secondary education;
• Industrial construction experience;
• Familiarity with industrial tooling an asset;
• High sense of urgency;
• Organizational skills;
• Good data entry skills; 
• Ability to drive forklift;
• Experience with MS Office;
• Good communication and interpersonal skills;
• Prior warehouse and administrative work experience an asset;
• SAP an asset;
• Motivated, self-starter;
• Ability to troubleshoot;
• Demonstrated multi-tasking ability;
• Team-player
• Good physical abilities (climbing and descending stairs frequently, lifting loads of up to 45lbs);
• Knowledge of French language, an asset
