General Description

 

WHAT YOU’LL DO: Write the purpose for which the job exists

  • Market Development for ANDRITZ Hydro’s (AH) systems, products, and solutions for South Asia.
  • Track market trends, competition, and identify business prospects.
  • Prepare market development strategy for the assigned region including advocacy towards enabling policy and regulatory frameworks at Central / Federal and State / Province levels.
  • Work towards maximizing market penetration / reach.
  • Client relationship management including with business associates / consultants.
  • Identifying target projects to be focused upon based on market assessment and AH’s internal strategy.
  • Promotion of AH’s technical solutions, products, commercials, competitive advantages.
  • Generating Sales qualified lead / business prospects.
  • Finally, conversion of business for AH together as a team with relevant internal functions.

 

YOU’RE GOOD AT: Write the details of the core area of expertise required to possess by the candidate. 

 

  • Knowldege of Power Sector preferably Hydropower / Renewables is a must.
  • Experience of developing business/es with Government and Private sector Power utilities.
  • Experience of closely dealing with relevant Ministries and Regulators.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, team player, and willing to travel extensively at times.

 

 

YOU BRING: Experience & Qualifications (Provide information about knowledge required to delve into this role)

 

  • Experience: 20-25 years of core market / business development or sales experience preferably in the field of supplying technical solutions / products or heavy machinery in the hydropower sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering field preferably Mechanical or Electrical.
  • Project business knowledge is a must.

 

 

PREFERRED: Information about the knowledge required for the job which is not mandatory to possess.

 

  • MBA or MBA in Power Management will be an added advantage.
  • Product business knowledge and experience.
